National Library Week at the Piqua Public Library
The Piqua Public Library invites you to celebrate National Library Week with us from April 5th to April 10th.
Since 1958, National Library Week has been a national observance of libraries across the country, highlighting the essential role libraries play in strengthening communities and improving lives. The American Library Association sponsors the celebration. The theme this year is “Welcome to Your Library.” The theme promotes the idea that libraries extend far beyond the four walls of a building. Everyone is welcome to use library services. Whether people visit virtually or in person, libraries are accessible and inclusive places. Libraries foster a sense of belonging and community through learning, discovery, and exploration.
