PIQUA CITY PARADE AND EVENT PERMITS COLLECTION – 2008-2011 & 2014

INTRODUCTION

The Piqua City Parade and Event Permits Collection – 2008-2011 & 2014 was accessioned into the Piqua Public Library Archives and Special Collections on November 17, 2019.  The collection was transferred to the library as the result of a Certificate of Records Disposal by the City of Piqua which was sent to Ohio History Connection on November 10, 2017.  The records were then sent to the library from the city since the Piqua Public Library is a recognized and certified repository for public records.  Ownership and copyright of these records have been transferred to the Piqua Public Library and the records are available for use by the public without restrictions.

The Parade Permits for 2012 and 2013 were submitted for review in November 2017 and disposed of in December 2017.  The city no longer uses the Parade Permit.  The Special Events Permit has replaced the Parade Permit.
