LANGE PHOTOGRAPHY ADDITIONAL COLLECTION

 

INTRODUCTION

 

The Lange Photography Additional Collection was accessioned into the Flesh Public Library Archives in September 1987.

 

Raymond T. Lange operated a photography business in Piqua, Ohio. 

 

The collection fills one Hollinger box and 28 file folders.  The collection covers the years from 1947-1956.  There are no restrictions on the use of this collection and the Literary Copyright has been deeded to the public.

 

SCOPE AND CONTENTS

 

The Lange Photograph Additional Collection is divided into four series: Negatives; Photograph Orders and Prices; Publications and Miscellaneous.

 

SERIES I: NEGATIVES: covers aerial views of churches, factories, the radio station, airport, parks, downtown and residential areas.

 

SERIES II: PHOTOGRAPH ORDERS AND PRICES: covers his business for 1950 to 1956.

 

SERIES III: PUBLICATIONS: covers souvenir books from football games, Elk’s, St. Paul Church, a meat packing company, power plant and The Sesquicentennial Celebration.

 

SERIES IV: MISCELLANEOUS: covers convention books, assorted notes and photographers’ supply catalogs.
