ADDITIONAL COLLECTION
INTRODUCTION
The Piqua Police Department Records Collection, Additional Collection, was accessioned into the Flesh Public Library Archives in April 2006. This collection is an addition to MS – 89, the Piqua Police Department Arrest Record Collection. It fills one box and 14 file folders. The collection includes material from 1886 to 1980. There are no known restrictions on the use of this collection.
HISTORY
The Piqua Police Department Records Collection, Additional Collection, is an addendum to the Piqua Police Department Arrest Record Collection which was accessioned into the Flesh Public Library Archives in November 2001. It includes a court record book, 1866 through 1915; a complaint record book, 5/23/1952 through 11/1/1952; four confidential record books, 8/20/1960 through 6/12/1967; juvenile arrest records, 8/1/1975 through 4/21/1980; legal notices and resolutions, 1947-1949; Police Department Time Records, 1924 through 1951; and news articles from 1950-1953.
