St. Boniface / Piqua Catholic Newsletter COLLECTION
INTRODUCTION
The St. Boniface / Piqua Catholic Newsletter Collection was accessioned into the Piqua Public Library Archives and Special Collections on 5 September 2012. The collection was in the form of a donation from Ms. Rose Hemm of Piqua. The collection is housed in a single Hollinger box containing 28 files. The collection with some interruptions covers the years 1983 to 2012.
Included in the collection are St. Boniface Catholic Church Newsletters beginning with Volume 2, Issue 1(October 1983) and ending with Volume 22, Issue 6 (December 2008). Beginning in 2009 the Catholic parishes of Piqua began to produce a quarterly newsletter under the title “St. Boniface / St. Mary Catholic Churches – Tending the Master’s Vineyards” and this newsletter continues. The third set of newsletters included in this collection is an incomplete series issued by the Piqua Catholic School and covers the years 1988-1994.
There are no known restrictions on the use of the materials contained in these newsletters.
SCOPE AND CONTENT
The St. Boniface / Piqua Catholic Newsletter Collection is divided into the following three series:
