PIQUA PUBLIC LIBRARY CHURCH HYMNAL AND SONG BOOK COLLECTION

INTRODUCTION

The Piqua Public Library Church Hymnal and Song Book Collection was first accessioned into the Piqua Public Library Archives and Special Collections in June 2015.  The first accession was made up of a series of donations sought out by the Library to expand the music collection of the Library which began with the acquisition of the Hance Band Music Collection (MS-235).  The Church Hymnal and Song Book Collection is and will remain an open collection as we seek to acquire materials from Piqua and other area churches.  The collection is open to use by the public however the newer materials (those after 1945) are covered by the copyright laws of the United States.
