THE BETTE MILLER GRAY LADY

SCRAPBOOK COLLECTION

 

INTRODUCTION

 

The Bette Miller Gray Lady Scrapbook Collection was accessioned into the Piqua Public Library Archives and Special Collections as part of a larger donation from her daughters, Barbara Treon and Rhonda Heffner.  Bette Miller was an original member of the Piqua Memorial Hospital Red Cross Gray Ladies.  She rose through the organization to become the Chairman of the Piqua Memorial Gray Ladies. 

 

The collection consists of materials found in a single scrapbook kept by Bette Miller of her years in the Piqua Memorial Gray Ladies and as Chairman of the Gray Ladies.  The collection is housed in a single Hollinger box.  Ownership of the collection has been transferred to the Piqua Public Library and there are no restrictions on the use of the materials in the collection.

 

SCOPE AND CONTENT

 

The Bette Miller Gray Lady Scrapbook Collection is housed in a single Hollinger box and is divided into six series as follows:
