C. Oscar Baker (1917-1974) – Baker was born in Springfield, Ohio and graduated from the Dayton School System. He worked for WHIO Radio in Dayton for over fourteen years before moving to Piqua where he purchased a half interest in the local station WPTW-AM Radio. He served as president and general manager of the station adding FM in 1960. He was the founder, president and general manager of the Valley Antena Systems (Piqua CATV) from 1964 through 1974. He served as president of the United Fund and as a director of the board of the Mental Health Association.
