Box 618 Piqua, Ohio – Whirlaball is a toy composed of a string with a wooden ball on either end and a wooden tube in the middle.  Included in this folder is the manila instructions envelope which was the package for the toy and enlarged copies of the front and back of the envelope.  The price of the toy was 10 cents.  Piqua General Supply was located at 607 W. Water St. and managed by Stanley Dubois.  It engaged in the wholesale toy business.

Wood, William W., 3rd - catalog of the public auction sale of William Wood's collection of early American glass.  Printed on the front of the catalog is the following: "Early American Glass, The Important Collection of William W. Wood, 3rd, Piqua, Ohio.  Public Auction Sale January 22 and 23 at 2 p.m., Parke-Bernet Galleries, Inc., 30 East 57 Street, New York, 1942."  The catalog lists 406 separate glass pieces with pictures of some of the pieces included.  An unidentified person wrote the final auction sale price next to each item in the catalog.  The catalog was donated to the library by Mr. Dave Vollette of Piqua.
